Hi again!

A little more about me

I am Polina Lulu, a passionate entrepreneur in child experience, learning, technology and play. I research, write, talk and consult about integrating children's rights and voices into design and creating products, experiences and environments that help children thrive.

Parenting has dismantled most of what I've known about learning design. So, I’ve decided to take a newbie approach, start from the beginning, and reconstruct my understanding.

I love connecting ideas and people, always seeking broader context, sparks of joy and intrinsic motivation. As I journey through the abundant data out there just waiting to be connected, I collect the breadcrumbs in different fields and translate them into useful knowledge for professionals in children's space and everyone interested in including children. This blog is like a shared (I love sharing!) notebook on learning, EdTech, and parenting. Search for content that is relevant to you.

Proudly introducing the newest initiative, "Designing for Children's Best" podcast, co-produced and co-hosted with Leyla Nasib for D4CR (Designing for Children's Rights) non-profit association. It is a place to grow together professionally, actualizing the potential of designing with children in mind.

My mission

My desire is to deeply understand learning, children, product and game design for children, technological mindfulness, ethics, habits, skills, and more. As a parent and UX researcher, my mission is to know how to empower our children's learning and living experiences using technology.

There’s so much data just waiting to be put to use. For now, I’m gathering breadcrumbs in different fields, and writing about my findings here – hopefully to the benefit of our community, parents, and other LX designers.

Together, we can understand how our children learn, and create fantastic products that serve them best. Cheers to a learning experience full of adventure, curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm.
